The tap, tap, tap of sleet hitting the window gets my attention and no sooner than I grab my camera and snap off a few pictures, the icy mixture switches over to large, fluffy snowflakes reminiscent of the interior of a snow globe.
The entire St. Louis area is under a huge storm today and I am so thankful to be safely at home watching this winter loveliness from inside my warm apartment. It’s days such as this that I can find the most inspiration.
It doesn’t seem to matter if I’m standing in awe of her power or admiring her beauty, my muse often speaks the loudest when I am in nature’s presence.
