Remembering our Blessings

It’s the time of year for counting blessings and I feel I have a lot to be thankful for. I am of course thankful for the big things, my husband, my family, having a roof over my head, health and living my dreams.
But I feel like what it truly means to be blessed is being thankful for the little things.
Like the picture I used for this post. I took it one morning from my deck as the sun came up. I was humbled by the beauty of nature, of the every day, seemingly routine event of a sunrise.
Blessings come in all shapes and sizes, sometimes they even come in a deceptive package. That’s why it’s important to keep your eyes open.
This week, challenge yourself to look for blessings in a variety of places.
