Last weekend we ventured out to the small town of Rosebud for their Fall Treasure Day. This day long festival featured the merchants in Rosebud – antique shops, boutiques, and eateries – along with other vendors and area makers who came in to sell unique, hand-made, vintage, and locally made items.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get nearly enough pictures (it was so crowded it was hard to stop and take a photo). We found a few antiques I couldn’t pass up, like an antique kerosene lantern, and a few kitchen items I’ve been had on my list for a while (like a wooden rolling pin). And we scored farm fresh eggs for a reasonable price, which is hard to come by these days. We picked up two dozen!

I window-shopped in furniture stores, and a few clothing boutiques, like the Rosebud Vault. Plus we patronized a coffee stand that serve Breve Coffee, as well as The Rosebud Haberdashery, where my hubs picked up some beard oil. The haberdashery also runs the Rosebud Guest House, which looks super inviting on their Instagram. And, we’re die-hard Yellowstone TV series fans and I was tickled to see how much Yellowstone merchandise was in the shops, like the cutout of Rip :).

I think one of the things I like most about fall, besides the crisp mornings and changing leaves, is the variety of festivals and events that tend to take place, like Treasure Day. On my list of things to do next during fall is hiking and visiting a pumpkin patch.
