What’s on the Other Side?

We’re now smack-dab in the middle of February and this is my first blog post for the month. Whoops! There’s been so much happening in my career right now, I have to admit my head is spinning.

As I announced previously, I recently signed a contract, the first of my career, with e-publisher Total-E-Bound.  My short story, Tropical Heat, will release on their website May 27 and everywhere else on June 24. The past couple of weeks have been super busy with going over content edits, meeting other authors online in the publisher’s Yahoo group and trying to find authors who will host me on their blogs in May and June when Tropical Heat releases.

 I’m really excited about where I am. I got here by climbing up the mountain of self-doubt, fear, sacrifice and of course, lots of work! I can’t wait until my forthcoming release and whatever else is in store beyond it, on the other side. 🙂
