The past four days have went by in a blur. I’ve had a lot going on in my person and family life lately, but luckily I have been able to find creative outlets like writing and photography to help me cope.
My goal is to finish my first draft by the next check-in (this Sunday). As of this blog post I have a little over 5,000 words to go. It is a lot of writing to do in four days, but I am confident that I can do it 😉
My word count for this week are as follows: Sunday: 251; Monday: 516; Tuesday: 1,549; Wednesday: (so far) 738. Bringing my four day total to 3,o54.
I plan on writing for several more hours this evening, and I’ve committed to writing all day tomorrow (and night if needed) in order to hit my goal.
Stay tuned, I’ll let you know if I finish my first draft on my Sunday update.

Hope all gets better in your personal life and with your family.
Thanks Nicole. 🙂
That’s fantastic, that you’re so close to finishing your first draft! Good for you. I really admire your drive and appreciate your commitment to push through to the end to complete your goal. You go girl!
Thanks, Andrea! Actually, I am FINISHED! I completed the first draft tonight. Now the FUN begins. Edits, cover art, getting my ARCs to beta readers, getting reviewers to review it before it releases. A writer’s work is never done 🙂
Good luck with your writing goals.
I was going to wish you good luck but I see in a reply to another comment that you have completed the first draft. Congratulations.
