I adore winter. Snow makes me happy (well, as long as I don’t have to drive too far in it). There’s a creative magic in the void of color and frigid temperatures that accompany winter.

One of my favorite things to do after there has been a significant snowfall is to take a photo walk.  With everything drenched in the fluffy white stuff, capturing images of winter’s beauty is a challenging way to seek out the subtle details surrounding me.
